Some of the most profound changes my clients have experienced, some of the quickest changes, have been as a result of helping to release earthbound spirits.
There is a proliferation of spirits that are earthbound and they stay earthbound for several reasons.
1) Some are angry and refuse to move on
2) They are not aware that they are dead
3) They even have an option to do anything else
Those who die without a belief system in place, may not know where to go after their death. They mayo wander or go someplace where they feel safe - a closet, under a bed, up in a tree, a cave, a box. Many do not know that they are dead and are looking for their body. In addition to those spirits, beings that die suddenly are not even aware that they are dead and continue to wander the earth plane. Some beings do not die suddenly, but refuse to accept death and they wander as well.
Hospitals, bars, bus terminals, funerals etc. are all great places to unwittingly pick up a spirit attachment. The spirit is attracted by virtue of some similarity between it and the host such as physical ailment of negative state of mind such as depression, anger, feelings of failure and fear. The principal of "resonance" takes over. The spirit will attach itself to anything it resonates with. Our goal is to lovingly help it to understand it is not in its own body as well as help it with its own feeling.
Spirits can affect a person on several levels from mild influence in the outer aura, to obsession as they dig in deeper. This is common in patients in mental hospitals. The last is possession which is very rare.
For all of the feelings of despair one can experience either in their own life, Deep Memory Process sessions or empathically, nothing compares to the depth of despair that these beings feel. They are totally dejected and often misled and used. Some are warriors who think they are still "on duty" and are just following orders.
Once communication is established and they begin to dialogue, I just find that they want to go home, maybe to that special girl they left behind, or the one who never knew he loved her. Their hearts have been stomped on so many times they don't know compassion exists. It is our job to help them find this once again in a loving and healing way and help them find their way to a lighter more healing place and out of the murky darkness they've been living in.
I believe, more than any other healing modality, Spirit Releasement has the most potential to change the spiritual balance of the planet. There are so many tortured souls can not find their way into the space of Light. They only need to be guided.
